A fine neoclassical agate cameo. Female bust.
19th century
20 x 28 x 8 mm

The youthful draped bust is characterized by thick hair gathered on the top of the head from two large bands and behind the neck by a small band. The elegant portrait is characterized by fine details and by an attractive use of the colorful shades of the stone. The subject is inspired by the greek models.
