A fine neoclassical two-layers agate cameo set in a silver brooch. Bust of Bacchus.
19th century
34 x 46 x 18 mm

The young god of drunkness is facing right with the draped bust. The thick hair is adorned with ivy leaves and characterized by braids that elegantly descend on the neck. Finely executed work in high-relief. After the classical statuary models.
