L'Uomo Di Ferro is an original artwork realized in 1872 by Antonio Manganaro.
This satirical print is plate n. XI (as printed on the higher part of the artwork) from "The album of the 500" (Album dei 500), Tipografia De Angelis, Naples, and represents a satirical scene of Italian politicians of the late XIX century.
The print represents the caricatures of Alfonso La Marmora, Honorable of Biella, nicknamed the Iron Man (Uomo di Ferro).
On the back, there is his biography.
Signed on plate on the lower left: Manganaro. Date printed on the lower left, 1872.
Good conditions, except for the yellowed paper due to time and some light foxings.
