Temple dedicated to the Peace

Etching, 1773.

Beautiful Proof, showing the apparatus for firework built by the “Cavalier Paolo Posi”, engraved by “Cavalier Giuseppe Vasi”. The subject is the machine representing a Temple dedicated to the Peace, shown and burned in occasion of the Feast of S. Peter and Paolo (29th June 1773). Signed on plate lower margin. Original Title with a detailed capture under the picture. In Very Good condition, except a usual worn paper on margins and some little and light stains.
