Description

Glimpse is an original artwork realized by the artist Jules Hébert in the second half of the XIX Century.

Original watercolor on paper.

The stamp of Atelier Hébert is present on the lower left corner.

Beautiful fresh artwork representing an architecture glimpse with a stair in the background and a wall on the right side. All the composition is realized with different shades of brown and beige colors. This work has been realized by Jules Hébert (Geneve, 1812 - Geneve, 1897) a Swiss painter that realized especially genre scene and historical scenes. He also worked as portraitist, lithographer and engraver. He worked from 1839 and 1886 as drawing teacher and some of his works are preserved in the Museum of art and History in Geneve.
