Description

The Stolen Kiss is an original artwork realized by Philippe Jullian in 1943. Original etching on paper.

Passepartout included.

Hand-signed, dated, and dedicated in pencil by the artist on the lower left corner. Numbered in pencil on the lower right corner, edition of 10 prints.

Good conditions, except for some light foxing on the margins.

This artwork, representing two figures kissing, was realized by the French artist Philippe Jullian (Bordeaux, 1919 - Paris, 1977), who was an illustrator and writer that explored in his artworks some particular themes, such as transvestism, transsexualism, and eroticism. He also realized several illustrations for important books, like those by Honoré de Balzac, Colette, Fyodor, and Dostoevsky.
