Alessandro Ziliani (Busseto 1906, Milano 1977)

Alessandro Ziliani, born June 3, 1906 in Busseto, died February 12, 1977 in Milan. He studied in Milan with tenor Alfredo Cecchi. His debut was in 1929 in "Madama Butterfly" at the Dal Verme in Milan, and was successful enough that Ziliani obtained a contract to record "La traviata" His Master's Voice for the following year (with Anna Rosza and Luigi Borgonovo).
