French silver coffee pot - Paris 1786-1789
pyriform body resting on three feet, beak-shaped spout attached to the body with foliate decoration, with turned ivory side handle (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797).Hallmarked Paris 1786-1789, fermier Henry Clavel (Ref. L. Carré page 36). Height 18 cm, width with handle 19 cm. Weight 390 gr. Item condition grading: **** good. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of authenticity (pre-1947).
