These artworks can be bring back to the style of Elisabetta Marchionni, although later than her paintings of floral arrangements. There aren’t so many bibliographic informations about the artist, probably her surname derived from her husband’s name, a goldsmith by profession.
Every painting in question shows a pot covered by flowers and leaves characterized by delicate colours that go from red to pink to white; These floral arrangements are lit up by natural light that comes directly from the sky barely recognisable in the background. In the end it is possible notice a certain freedom in the realization of flowers with open petals and in their arrangement, elements that characterize her compositions.
