Complete Coeval binding in full vellum Frontispiece with woodcut stamp, 7 plates engraved in copper, ancient signature belonging to the titlepage, stains and burnishing on some papers, the map of Moscow has been professionally restored in the folds. Roman private collection stamp on the back. First rare Italian edition. Of particular interest is that this Italian translation of the Olearius is followed by a Warning to the reader in which clarifications are given both on the conditions of Russia and on the etymology of some Russian terms and by the Relatione di Moscovia written by Raffaello Barberino to Count Di Nubarola.
