Satirical scene is a beautiful black and white etching on China paper, realized in the XX century by the Italian artist Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni (1934-2000). Signed in pencil on the lower right margin, this is an artist's proof as the pencil inscription on the lower left margin points. A really superb original print of virtuous hatching, representing a really complex scene that seems to be the contemporary allegory of the vanitas: a parody of the Paolina Borghese portrayed as fat and elder woman showing the apple of desire traditionally lying down on a triclinium, a general with an helmet with a full plumage but a not very intelligent sight, an elder woman, a Napoleonic general, two lovers in a sensual embrace, a voyeur with a photo camera searches to portrayed a standing woman showings her young body.
