Description

Smiling Woman is a beautiful original pencil and watercolor drawing on ivory-colored paper realized by an anonymous artist of the French school of the XVIII century.

In good conditions, except for some thinnings of paper visible in backlight; on the right margin, some discolorations of paper and some minor stains that do not affect the image though.

From the drapery and the fashion of her clothes and hairstyle, we could deduce that we are in front of a wonderful Neoclassical portrait of a woman, whose sweet smile enchants still today.
