Beautiful Artist's Proof, representing the second complex apparatus for firework built in occasion of the Feast of S. Peter and Paolo (29th June 1773) by Paolo Posi. This wonderful Etching, representing the fabrication of Triaca, the "miraculous antidote against each poisons", is by Giuseppe Vasi (engraver), Giuseppe Palazzi (draftsman). Signed on plate lower margin. Original Title with a detailed capture under the image. In Good condition.

Master of Giovan Battista Piranesi, Giuseppe Vasi was an Italian engraver best known for his Roman vedute, i.e. Delle magnificenze di Roma antica e moderna (1747-61), a collection of 200 plates, 10 books.
